     • More positive attitude towards aggression than other children
     • Conduct problems
     • Social problems
   • Characterised by impulsivity and a strong need to dominate others
   • Have little empathy for their victims
   • 3 main motives
     • Power and dominance
     • Hostility towards their environment
     • To gain some reward

2. Victims

   • Found to have
     • Internalising problems
       • More anxious and insecure
       • Lower self-esteem
       • More likely to be depressed
     • Social problems
     • Greater difficulty adjusting to school
     • Some externalising problems
       • Conduct problems
       • Proactive versus reactive aggression
