1Local Storage is ...... when your files are stored on the digital device you are using.

3Advantages of Local Storage.- You have control over access to your files and the security of the data.

4Disadvantages of Local Storage.- You are responsible for keeping the data safe.
- It is difficult to share your data with others.
- You have to back up your data.
5Advantages of Online Storage.- The data is available anywhere you have internet access and a browser.
- Some online data storage services are free.
- It is easy to share your data with others.
- Data is backed up for you.
6Disadvantages of Online Storage.- You have to trust that the organisation storing your data will keep your data secure.
- The online data storage may not be reliable.
- You need an internet connection to get access to your data. This can be frustrating if the connection is slow.
- Less control of your data as you do not know where your data is stored.
