What Are Physical Properties? Physical properties are used to describe states of matter.
What Are States Of Matter? Substances That exist in either solid, liquid or gas form are states of matter.
Define compressible? Able to be squashed to make it smaller.
Define incompressible? Unable to be compressed or squashed.
Define odour? Odour means smell.
What are chemical properties? They describe how a substance reacts to another substance.
Give 1 Example of Chemical Properties? E.g When oxygen reacts with iron, rust is formed.
How are liquids similar to solids? In that they don't change their size and are incompressible.
Give Examples of gases that have odour (smell). E.g perfume, scent and fumes.
What is Plasma? It is a gas-like state that only exists in a temperature above 6000 degrees C.
