1. GUI

   • Advantages
     • dont need any ICT skills
     • Pictures can mean more than words
     • Helps younger people and people with disabilities
   • Disadvantages
     • Can be large and complex and take up resources
     • Can make the computer run slower

2. Menu-Driven interface

   • advantages
     • can find things easily
     • can only use options shown
   • Disadvantage
     • some options may have no use for a particular user
     • Can be difficult to locate an option if there are high number of menus and sub menus

3. Command line interface

   • advantages
     • execute instructions quickly
     • instructions versitile
     • small operating systems
   • Disadvantages
     • need to learn special instructions
     • need to type instruction precisely
     • complex levels with some commands, need to be skilled in ICT

4. Touch sensitive interface

   • advantages
     • lowq levelk ict skills needed
     • less possibility of theft
     • more practical in some places
   • Disadvantages
     • can get dirty and scratched
     • higher cost
