1. Abraham

   • Isaac
     • Esau
       • Older twin. When Esau came out of the womb he was red and his whole body was filled with hair. Esau is a skillful hunter and spends lots of time outside with his dad.
       • Jacob and Esau are brothers who are "rivals". In the begging of Unit 4, Jacob deceive Esau into tricking him into giving him his birthright (which allows Jacob to inherit most of Issac's wealth). Jacob and his mother trick Issac into giving his blessing to Jacob instead of Esau. This makes Esau furious at his whole family. He now wants to kill Jacob. 20 Years later.. Jacob and Esau meet again. Esau and Jacob forgive each other and they weep.
     • Jacob
       • Younger twin. Jacob means "The deceiver". Jacob came out of the holding Esau's heel. Jacob is a homeboy. He works the farm, cooks, and often spends time with his mom.
       • Rachel
         • Sisters who also have a lot of rivalry. Both Rachel and Leah want Jacob to like them. So there solution is to have as many kids with Jacob as possible so he will like them. In the end Leah wins and has many kids than Rachel. Both of these sisters live in Haran.
           • Leah
             • Jacob
               • Orginially lives in Canaan but then flees to Haran to try to escape from his brother Esau.
             • Leah is the sister of Rachel and daughter of Laban. Rachel really likes Jacob, and has feelings for him. But Jacob does not really like Leah and is in love with Rachel. The younger sister.
         • Rachel is the younger sister of Leah and she is the daughter of Laban. Rachel is Jacob's first wife.
         • Laban
           • Father of both Leah and Rachel. Laban deceived Jacob in chapter 4.3 by sending Leah to Jacobs room instead of Rachel, who Jacob really likes. Laban's reason for this is that Jacob should marry the older sister if there is one available. He also says that if Jacob wants to marry Rachel, he has to work another 7 years for him (and he does).
           • Lives in Haran
     • Rebekah
       • Favors Jacob. God told her a prophecy that the older son (Esau) will serve the younger son (Jacob.
       • Rebekah is Issac's wife. When Abraham was very old, he sent one of his servants to find Isaac a wife in Haran. The servant had to bring Issac's (soon to be) wife (Rebekah) back to the land of Canaan to marry Issac. Abraham wanted Issac to stay in Canaan to inherit all of his wealth and land. In the end, Rebekah helps Jacob decieve Issac when he goes blind by tricking Issac into giving his blessing to Jacob instead of Esau. Rebekah originally lived in Haran but then moved to Canaan to live with Issac.
   • Abraham dies when his is 175 years old
