1. Erosion

   • Hydraulic Action
     • The sheer force of the water wears away the bed and banks of the river.
   • Corrosion
     • The slightly acidic water dissolves rocks made from calcium carbonate.
   • Corrasion
     • Stones carried by the river are washed into the bed and banks of the river, therefore wearing them down.
   • Attrition
     • Stone carried by the river collide together, gradually getting smaller and rounder.
