1. In computer architecture

   • is a communication system
   • transfers data between components inside a computer
   • transfers data between computers too

2. This consists of wires or tracks on a printed circuit, resistors ,capacitors and integrated circuits

3. In the first computers, the buses were parallel type

4. The communication is toward using tapes or tracks requiring only input and output ports

5. Now the serial buses are used, they are faster and more effective.

6. it define its capacity according to the maximum frequency of shipping

   • DMA allows a device to access CPU

8. There were 2 sets of buses, one for memory and one for other devices
