   • Can be applied to both the design and manufacture of products, and outcome of these risk assesments can determine different aspects such as:
     • Can determine things auch as the physical appearance
     • the materials, components and finishes used
     • the method of manufacture and consumer advice issues with products

       • -Part 1: Mechanical and physical properties cover toys to ensure that they have no parts that can stab, trap, mandle or choke.-Part2: Flammability concerns toys such as Wendy's house, fancy dress costumes and soft toys. It limits the materials used to prohibit some of the more flammable ones, and ensure that if the toy does catch fire the child can drop it, or get out of it and get away. -Part3: Migration of certain elements concerns limiting the 'release' of harmful substances such as led from toys
