  1. Set theory
    1. a collection of distinct entities regarded as a unit, being either individually specified or (more usually) satisfying specified conditions
      1. Terms and Symbols
        1. A ∩ B (Intersection)
          1. the new set that contains every element that is in both of the input sets
          2. A ∪ B (Union)
            1. the new set that contains every element from either of A and B
            2. ~A (Not A)
              1. the new set gets everything that is in the universe but is outside of A
              2. A – B (A minus B)
                1. if it's in A and not in B, then it goes into the new set
                2. ~(A U B) (Not A and B)
