   • Atoms
     • The Nucleus
       • It's in the middle of the atom.
       • It contains protons and neutrons
       • It has a radius of 1/10 000m.
       • It has a positive charge because of the protons.
     • The Electrons.
       • They move around the nucleus in shells.
       • They are negatively charged.
       • The volume of their orbits determines the size of the atom.
       • They have NO mass.
       • It has a very small mass (AKA: 0) and a -1 charge.
     • Proton and Neutron.
       • protons have a mass of 1 and a charge of +1
       • Neutrons have a mass of 1 and no charge. Hence them being 'neutral'.
   • Elements
     • An element is a substance made up of atoms that all have the same number of protons in their nucleus.
     • Isotopes.
       • Isotopes are different forms of the same element, which have the same number of protons but a different number of neutrons.
