1. When the people see the King dead they have a small "meeting" to speak about what could have happened and how they were going to handle the situation

2. They decide that because to them God chooses the Kings for a reason, this was God's way of telling them that it was time for Duncan to go

3. A quote from the book is that they question whether Duncan went to "Heaven or Hell"

4. The bell sounds again the next night as though wanting to torment Macbeth for what he did to the King

5. Lady Macbeth decides to own up to the point of distracting or drunkening the guards who were outside of the Kings bedroom to Macduff

6. The main royal people decide to make the first move against Macbeth's treason

7. They only partially know about the amount of witchcraft involved within the murder

8. Treason for the full reason of the plot being so hidden and concealed and then also against the King

9. They didn't understand what Macbeth was attempting to gain from murdering Duncan

10. Lady Macbeth distances herself from the entire situation

11. The people decide to arrange Macbeth's death the next day

12. Now Banquo and Macbeth are showing points of light and dark imagery
