   • It's less capable compared to magnetic

2. magnetic

   • hard drive
   • It's Less portable compared to optical meaning it takes more effort to move
   • It's Much more capable compared solid state, therefore it can hold more programs
   • floppy disk
   • Magnetic is much more durable than optical, this is because optical is much flatter and magnetic is much balkier therefore if you want a storage device that has bulk,out of the two, magnetic is much better

3. optical

   • CD
   • Blue-Ray
   • It's Less durable compared magnetic meaning it is more likely to break
   • It's much more portable compared to magnetic
   • out of all optical is much more cost effective, therefore you get more GB for less money

4. secondary storage is non volatile which means it stores data permanently
