1. Processing

   • Network card
     • It processes data into a computer or computer network.
   • Sound Card
     • It processes audio components to allow them to work on a computer.
   • Motherboard
     • It processes circuit boards.
   • Central Processing Unit (CPU)
     • Operations are processed and controlled.
   • Ticket Machine
     • The information PROCESSES through the machine

2. Storage

   • CDs
     • Holds music on it and plays it back to you when you want it too.
   • DVDs
     • It holds the video and information on it.
   • Memory Stick
     • Stores pictures, sound and data on it..
   • Hard Disk
     • It stores the data so that you can use it when you need too.
   • Micro drive
     • It has a larger storage than a memory card and keeps images in it.

3. Input

   • Keyboard
     • You Type INTO it and what you wanted to write,appears on the screen.
   • Controller
     • You click the buttons INTO the controller
   • Webcam
     • A video camera that allows images to go INTO the computer.
   • Electrical pen and pad
     • The information goes INTO it.
   • Touchscreen Board
     • You put the information INTO the device but it also shows it OUT.
   • Image Scanner
     • It transfers images or text INTO the computer.
   • Microphone
     • You speak INTO the microphone and it plays your voice out, louder, from it.
   • Computer mouse
     • You click the button on the mouse and it goes INTO the device controlling your action.
   • Pointing Device
     • A mouse for example,when you click it the move goes INTO the moniter.
   • Graphics Tablet
     • The drawing goes INTO the tablet.

4. Output

   • Printer
     • It Prints OUT paper.It also is kind of an input device because you put the paper and the image or writing INTO it.However its more of an output device.
   • Projector
     • It shows what you want OUT on the screen
   • Electronic pen
     • The words that you write come out of it.
   • Moniter
     • The image come OUT of the computer onto the screen.
   • Plotter
     • A piece of equipment that marks out points on a chart.
   • Speaker
     • Your voice plays OUT of it.
   • Headphones/Earphones
     • It plays OUT music when you click on a certain button.
   • Light/LED
     • When something needs to be turned on or off, electrical signals come OUT of the device.
   • Computer Output Microfilm
