Volume of a prism
Volume of a cylinder
Solving problems involving prism and cylinders
Formula:
(Cylinder) - V = (π x r2) x h
Formula:
(Rectangular prism) - V = LxWxH
(Cube) - V = S3
(Right triangle) - V = (bxh ÷ 2) x h
Examples
(Prism)
Rectangular Prism

(LxWxH)
10x4x5 = 200m
Cube

(S3)
5x5x5 = 125cm
Right Triangle

(bxh ÷ 2) x h
8x10 ÷ 2 x 20 = 800
Example
(π x r2) x h
π x 42 x 6 = 301.4

π x r2 x h
62.8 = π x 22 x h
π x 22 = 12.56 x h
62.8 ÷ 12.56 = 5
