1. Memory Processes

   • The Encoding Process (The Input Stage):
     • VISUAL: A visual image of info. ACOUSTIC: "Hearing" the info in your head.   SEMANTIC: Words and objects in terms of their meaning.
   • The Storage Process:
     • Used to maintain info in the memory.
   • The Retrieval Process:
     • RECOGNITION: EG, recognising a friend on the street. RECALL: EG, Remembering what happened yesterday. REPRODUCTION: Drawing and reproducing info from memory
