2. Cartilaginous joints

   • fibrocartilage
     • collagen that is arranged in the same direction
     • resist tension and compression

3. Fibrous Joints

   • Sutures in between the cranial bones
   • fixed;immovable
   • Dense connective tissue (DFCT)
     • type of connective tissue that is densely packed type 2 collagen
