   • many many molecules all strung together to form really long chains

5. What are characteristics/structure of polymers?

   • polymers are very very long chains
   • can bend and twist and get all tangled up, can stick to each other and move much slower because they're so big
   • Some are rubbery, some are sticky and gooey, and some are hard and tough
   • Most polymers are: lighter harder to break long-lasting recyclable easier to form into shapes cheaper
