murders him but his ghost returns to
haunt him, shaking his ‘gory locks’. - 6DUNCANthe king of Scotland by
divine right has ‘silver skin laced with
his golden blood’ - 7MALCOMDuncan’s son and heir who
flees after Duncan’s murder but
returns to restore order at the end of
the play ‘by the grace of God’
