- 1Bacteria cells differ from plant and animal cell, how and what are the affects of this?They lack a true nucleus, mitochondria and chloroplast and so DNA is found in the cytoplasm as a single circular strand or chromosome.
- 2Describe each of the ways in which growth is measured?- Measuring wet is hard to do for some organisms. -dry mass can only be measured by killing the organism.
- 3Stem cells stay undifferentiated, why?They can develop into different types of cells. Stem cells can be obtained from embryos and could be potentially used to treat some medical conditions.
- 4Name some reasons why people think stem cells are right and wrong?Some people think its wrong because the embryos are destroyed whereas others think that it is fine for a life threatening condition.
