Question Answer
Bacteria cells differ from plant and animal cell, how and what are the affects of this? They lack a true nucleus, mitochondria and chloroplast and so DNA is found in the cytoplasm as a single circular strand or chromosome.
Describe each of the ways in which growth is measured? - Measuring wet is hard to do for some organisms. -dry mass can only be measured by killing the organism.
Stem cells stay undifferentiated, why? They can develop into different types of cells. Stem cells can be obtained from embryos and could be potentially used to treat some medical conditions.
Name some reasons why people think stem cells are right and wrong? Some people think its wrong because the embryos are destroyed whereas others think that it is fine for a life threatening condition.
