OMR Optical Mark Recognition - OMR uses an input device called an optical mark reader to detect marks made in certain places on specially printed forms.
Barcode Reader barcode represents a code number for a product and is a set of vertical lines of different thicknesses that represent a number.
Magnetic Strip Recognition A magnetic stripe is a thin band of magnetic tape that is often found on the back of credit and debit cards, identity cards and electronic key cards in hotels and businesses.
Voice Recognition A data capture method for inputting text into word processors; it can also be used as a method of inputting identification into security entry systems.
Biometrics Based on recognising a person based on either physical or behavioural qualities.
RFID Tag A microchip combined with an antenna which can interact with a reader.
