- 1What is a cookie?A small text file which stores information about the website you have visited. e.g. saves your password.
- 2What is the function of the 'S' in HTTPS?It means that the website is secure, therefore you can put your details on it.
- 3What is a Trojan?A program that appears desirable but actually contains something harmful. The contents of a Trojan can be a virus or a worm.
- 4What is Adware?A software application that includes advertisements, which are displayed while the software is running.
- 5What is Spyware?Computer software that obtains information from a user's computer without the user knowing.
- 6What is a Virus?A software program capable of reproducing itself and usually capable of causing great harm to files or other programs on the same computer. A true virus cannot spread without human assistance. E.G, opening an email with a virus attached to it.
