Amylase Enzyme Test
Amylase and Starch are added to two different test tubes with the same volume.
Leave in a water bath for 15 mins at 35 Degrees Celsius.
Place Iodine on a spotting tile
Mix the amylase solution with the starch
Keep in water bath
Every few minutes (2) add enzyme mix to a spotting tile spot
Once done, check to see where starch was no longer present.
Where ever the colour finally changed is when there
was no starch present (E.g. 12 mins - 14 mins).
