Camera shots

1. Extreme Long Shot (establishing shot): contains a lot of the landscape and helps to establish the location and atmosphere.

2. Long shot: contains a fair amount of landscape or background but the figures in the scene are recognisable.

3. Full shot: contains much less background but does not contain the whole height of any figure in the frame.

4. Medium shot: contains much less background and the figures in the frame are only seen from the waist up.

5. Closeup: contains almost no background but focuses on the whole of an object or a persons face

6. Extreme closeup: focuses on an aspect of an object in great detail or a part of a persons face.
