Network
- Local area network (LAN) is when
computers are linked together in a small
space. e.g a school
- Wide area network (WAN) is when computers are
linked together across a larger space. e.g the internet
- Encryption is when dada is scramble being
sent over a network so that it can`t be read
unless you have the key.
- Decryption is when you unscramble data being sent over a
network but you need the key to be able to Decryption

another person from logging into
your account
- Firewall used to stop data being sent out
or received by the computer
- Physical security can stop unwanted people
from accessing the hardware. e.g a lock

- Server is used to share files, programs
and can also manage the security and
logins of the network.
