      1. Illness was caused by blocked channels in the body and the 46 channels sourced led from the heart, which they believed was the main organ.
      2. Treatments used
        1. Disinfectant- Honey and Malachite
          1. For vomiting- Mustard seeds and mint
        2. Surgery and Anatomy
          1. Mummification allowed them to inspect vital organs and have a vague idea of what their uses were.
            1. Other wise they wouldn't have any idea becuase of religious reasons.
            2. Bronze tools were stronger and sharper than in the prehistoric.

              1. Hygine had religious significance so it was very good.

                    1. Toilets were boxes with holes made out of limestone but poor people's were made out of wood.

                        1. Encouraged cleanliness, gave them knowledge of the body through mummification but also held them back, wore mosquito nets round their bed, shaved their heads (kept away nits) Wore eyeliner which protected their eyes.

                                  2. Hieroglyphics were important because they allowed ideas to be passed down to future generations and allowed them to communicate and share their medical knowledge.
