1. Databases are persistent and organised store of data.

2. A paper base is cost effective and better for the environment. However, it takes up a lot of time and can easily get lost.

3. A computer base is time effective and usually easy to access. Although it expensive and not very healthy for the environment, it is easier to search for information on a computer.

4. On a computer base more people can access it and it makes life a lot easier for people.

5. Paper bases can be stolen or you could lose it because it is very difficult to be organised.

6. An example of an effective computer base would be the police because computer bases are quicker to get to. This is good for the police because if they are looking for a criminal record, it is easy to find.

7. An example of an effective paper base is used in a catolog for a shop. Although a catalog can be found online, it wont hurt your eyes as much and it is easier than having to log into the computer for it.

8. A paper base is easy to access because you don't have to log in or waste electricity.

9. On a computer base, you can update it faster than on paper.

10. For a computer base you need internet connection and it wastes electricity. It is also expensive.

11. Any one can access paper and use it at any age.

12. On a computer more people can access it at once.

13. On a computer, data can be put in a data base with: records, fields, tables e.t.c

14. You can rip paper up whereas on a computer, it is saved.

15. Computer data bases are good for businesses because businesses involve a lot of work and with paper the work can be thrown away but on a computer their work is safe and secure.
