The diversity of families represents a culture which is focussed on widespread acceptance of different views and cultures. Not deviant, rather a response to different people's needs or wishes.

2. Eg. Cultural diversity means that different religions and ethnic groups have different family structures. For example, Afro-Caribbean households tend to be matriarchal.
