Irresponsible

Selfish

Not good at assessing current issues

"I refuse to take any responsibility"

"a man has to mind his own business"

He only cares about his business interests, he doesn't treat his workers as equals

He believes that the socialist ideas that stress the importance of community are "nonsense"

He wants to hide the fact that Eric stole money

"it's my duty to keep labour costs down"

"I was almost certain for a knighthood in the next Honours List"

"I've got to cover this up as soon as I can"

He says that the Titanic is "unsinkable, absolutely unsinkable"

"some people say that war is inevitable. And I to that I say - fiddlesticks!"
