He was born in Stratford, England on 1564
He went to a grammar school and academy called the King Edward VI School, which was an all-boys school
His dad was a bailiff of Stratford for a few years
His parents were John Shakespeare and Mary Arden
His mom was the daughter of a farmer
When he was 18, he married a 26 year old Anne Hathaway. He had three children with her
Hamnet, Shakespeare's only son died at 11 because of the bubonic plague
He was buried in Holy Trinity Church two days after his death
He died on April 23, 1616
He was a part owner of a company called the Lord Chamberlain's Men
His most popular plays are midnight summer dream and Romeo and Juliet
Shakespeare made his first play in about 1590-1591
In 1613, he retired from poetry and lived in Stratfrod
He is widely regarded as the best poet to ever live
Many of his poems were tragedies, which may have been inspired by his son's death.
