Method: Sprinkle seeds on damp sponge & allow germinate. Use when seeds become sapling. Make up agar gel into test tube. With sharp scissors cut tops off below the shoot apex. Push stem of explants into the gel, cover with cling film & place on sunny windowsill. Observe over 10 days.

Outcome:Explants grow roots & leaves continue grow. 

Evaluation Issues: Wrong part plant cut & inserted into gel. Unwanted pathogens grow in  gel as it is good source of water & nutrients.
