1. Inheritance is what makes code extensible in any OOP language.

   • Parent - Child
     • The is-a Relationship : Animal (birds, dogs, fish)
       • Subclass extends the functionality and behavior of the superclass.

2. Accessibility

   • subclass can access its superclass's public and protected methods, fields, and defaultmethod but not the superclass's private methods.

3. Method Overriding

   • Changing the behavior of a method in the parent class
     • Can override the superclass's public and protected methods.

4. Type Casting

   • Can case an instance of a subclass to its parent class., Upcasting
