Intelligence:Sydney Fellers

1. Emotional intelligence

   • The intelligence of managing emotions and being able to recognize them in other people (Grison 2019).

2. General intelligence

   • The single factor creating intelligence, IQ (Grison 2019).

3. Bodily Kinesthetic

   • This is the ability to use your body to complete a task or create a product (Gambo 2021).
     • A person high in this intelligence often learns better through "doing" something (Ahmad 2022).
       • I noticed that I do well in classes that allow me to use the information we are learning to physically do something.
     • A person high in this will also enjoy learning through physical activity vs a lecture (Ahmad 2022).
       • I have noticed I am high in this style of learning because I feel I learn more through activities and drawing things out than lectures.

4. Multiple Intelligence

   • This is the theory describing different ways that students learn and aquire information (Grison 2019).

5. Fluid and Crytallized

   • Fluid intelligence is reasoning, comprehensio, and problem solving and crystallized intelligence is recalling past information and knowledge stored (Grison 2019).

6. Triarchic Theory

   • This theory has 3 key components including analytical, practical and creative views (Grison 2019).

7. Musical

   • A person high in this intelligence is more musically inclined and learns things through sounds, beats, and patterns.
     • I believe I am low in this intelligence because I am not very in tune with music and sounds and beats.
   • Another characteristic of this person is having music or songs stuck in their head all the time
     • I am low on this scale because I do not listen to music very often so do not have songs stuck in my head a lot.
   • Interpersonal
     • Another characteristic of someone high in this area is they are a people peroson and enjoy communicating with people.
       • I belie this is what makes me in the middle for this section because I am outgoing and enjoy talking to people I just do not like group projects.
     • A person high in this would enjoy participating in group projects.
       • I am In the middle on this type of intelligence because I like group projects if they are with people I know and who complete work similar to me.
     • This is learning and completing tasks through communication and work with others (Gambo 2021).
       • Intrapersonal
         • This is a person who prefers to work alone rather than with other people (Gambo 2021).
           • Logical-Mathematical
             • This is learning through reason, problem solving, and numbers (Gambo 2021).
               • Linguistic
                 • This is a persons ability to reason, solve problems, and learn using language (Gambo 2021).
                   • Naturalistic
                     • This is taking scientific learnings of this world and applying them to their life (Gambo 2021).
                       • Spatial
                         • A characteristic of a person with this is having visual strengths and good at analyzing images.
                           • I am in the middle on this because I am a very visual person but am not goof at analyzing pictures into smaller details.
                         • A person with this are good at remembering faces, details, and images.
                           • I am in the middle on this one because I feel I am good at remembering faces and images because I am a visual person but I am not good at remembering fine details.
                         • The ability to perceive, understand, and analyze visual information to the world around (Shen 2019).
                     • A person strong in this loves plants, animals and nature.
                       • I am in the middle of this because I do love plants animals and nature but not as much as some other people so I could be stronger in this suit than I am.
                     • A person strong in this desire to understand how things work.
                       • I am in the middle on this because I do not find a desire to find the background behind how things function and work.
                 • A person high in this also enjoys doing puzzles, scrabble and word games
                   • I am low in this because I do not enjoy word games but rather
                 • Someone high in this uses strong vocabulary and enjoys reading and writing.
                   • I am low in this because although I enjoy writing, I do not enjoy reading and do not have a high sophisticated vocabulary
             • A person high in this is good at pattern recognition and abstract concepts.
               • I am low in this because I am not very good at creating patterns and thinking in abstract situations.
             • A person with this is good at problem solving and has a strong memory.
               • I think I am very low on this because I do not remember things well and tend to struggle with solving through problems such as math problems.
         • One characteristic of this is someone who enjoys spending time alone on a daily basis.
           • I am low in this because I do not like spending time alone on a daily basis but would rather be in community and with friends or family.
         • Another characteristic of this is someone who keeps a journal or diary and likes to spend time in their thoughts.
           • I think I am low in this because I do not take time to journal or write down my thoughts with myself but would rather communicate them with someone else.
   • This is the ability to learn through auditory information such as sounds, rhythms and musical pattterns (Gambo 2021).
