1. Louis Smith is an artist most commonly known for his famous portraits, he studied in florence for three years. His styles include themed, formal, informal, highly rendered or loose oil sketches. 
His use of media includes: charcoal, conte, pencil, sanguine and oil paint. 
I like this portrait as it look very realista and show a lot of retail but as you look at it closer you can see that all the brush strokes create the textura and the details you can see in the actual portrait

2. Jenny Morgan is an artist that centres in human figure and portraits that are themed around life, death and rebirth, she shows these darkly charged and psychological works in intense hues, revealing a life-affirming immediacy and spontaneity in the painting. Her paintings show striking intensity, breaking through the ideals of traditional portraiture and the preciousness of realism. I like this portrair as it shows more warm tones than some of her other works and this might be showing life in the portrait, I also like this portrait as it has a realista touch to it yet it has some parts that don't look that pianted like the white lines in the face of the woman
