   • Leaders see before others see.
   • Can you hear me now? Leaders must have effective communication.
   • Leaders must keep their listening ears engaged with the pulse of the environment.

3. Are You Still Learning?

   • There are life lessons, and professional lessons.
   • Leaders can be taught new concepts.
   • You have to be taught in order to teach.

4. The Dream Team

   • Great leaders create a winning game plan.
   • Networking establishes useful resources.
   • Goals aren't accomplished without teamwork.
