   • Evil exists
     • Illogical that Gods exist as evil does not fit with the inconsistant triad

   • Amount and distribution of evil
     • Cant be an omnipotent God

3. Irenaeus Theodicy

   • Defence agianst God by proving the inconsistant triad can work
   • Must develop through free will
     • If there is no free will there would be no evil
       • Cannot remove evil as there would be no free will
         • Eventually we will stop evil and suffering and become like God
   • Gods aim was to make humans in His likeness
     • "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness"
     • We have lots of potential God has none as he is already perfection
       • He is at epistemic distance from us
         • Cannot interfere with what we do

     • Without evil and suffering we would be like robots
     • Everyone goes to heaven
       • Justifies suffering
