• Elements are the most basic materials for building the world around for example: Chairs,desks,windows,our skin, the trees, the ocean, the sun and the stars.

• Scanning tunnelling microscope(STM) is a microscope that can show atoms by scanning the a tip across the surface of crystals and sensing the atoms as bumps on the surface.
