Psychology - Guiton 1966 - 'RUBBER GLOVES'

1. Imprinting - long term effects.

2. When the chicks grew up into chickens, the chickens that imprinted on rubber gloves tried to mate with them.

3. The chickens eggs were separated into two groups before they hatched.

   • One group was looked after and imprinted on by the mother hen as usual.
   • One group was left to imprint on rubber gloves.
