   • A substance made of 2 or more elements chemically bonded

7. Mixtures

   • Two or more substances that are together in the same place but their atoms are not bonded

8. Homogeneous mixtures

   • it is difficult or impossible to see the different parts.
   • Coffee

9. Heterogeneous mixture

   • it is easier to take apart and spot the different parts
