1. Infrastructure As A Service

   • This is simply storage.

2. Advantages

   • You can access your documents 24/7 as long as there is an internet connection.
   • You only pay for the storage you use. So if your usage dropped, then so would the price.

3. Disadvantages

   • You need an internet connection to access your documents.
   • The host controls the security of the data you store.
   • If the host is elsewhere (like in another country), retrieving data will be much harder.
   • The host might not have the most up to date software available, causing a poorer performance.

4. Software As A Service

   • This is the software that you use in the hosts server.
   • Programmes like Microsoft Word and Excel are examples of this.
