Calculating Distance via Distance Formula
Use it to calculate distance for both lines and vectors.
Formula: d = √ (x2-x1) ² + (y2-y1) ²
3 Forms of Linear Functions/Equations
1) Functional/Standard : y=mx+b
2) General : Ax+By+C = 0
3) Symmetric : A/x + B/y = 1
3 Methods of Calculating Systems of Equations
1) Comparing (method of comparison) : make y = y and the rest = the rest
2) Substituting (substitution) : use a known equivalency and plug it in
3) Eliminating/Adding (elimination/addition) : make one equation negative and find the sum of the 2 equations to eliminate different variables
