About statistical inference quizzes
GoConqr OriginalStatistical inference quizzes
These user-made quizzes offer questions on interpreting p-values, choosing tests, estimating population values and recognising errors. Statistical Inferences Test asks what can and cannot be concluded from a statistically significant p-value. Week 10 includes a question about choosing a test to compare groups.
Build a quiz routine
Start with Statistical Inferences Test if you want to check how you interpret a result. If you are working on estimation, try Point estimation I. For test selection, look at Types of inferential tests or the questions in Week 10.
After taking a quiz, note the questions you want to revisit. If you need to review an idea before trying more questions, switch to the notes or flashcards on the Statistical Inference unit page. Then return to a quiz on that topic. Choose a set of questions that fits what you are revising today.
Frequently asked questions
Which quiz should I start with?
Try Statistical Inferences Test if you are practising the interpretation of statistically significant results. Its questions ask what a p-value can and cannot support. If your focus is choosing a test for a comparison, Week 10 includes a question on that choice.
Are these quizzes free to use?
Yes. Every quiz listed here is free to open, study and take without an account. The quizzes were made by GoConqr users, rather than by GoConqr. A free account can also save your quiz scores and let you make your own study resources.
What topics do the quizzes cover?
The collection includes questions on point estimation, confidence intervals, hypothesis tests and types of inferential tests. It also includes quizzes on non-parametric testing and errors. You can choose a quiz by the topic in its title or explore a set such as Week 8, which includes questions on distributions and power.
