   • Research tool that consists of a series of questions and indications with the purpose of obtaining information from those consulted.

2. Types

   • Mail survey
     • Low response, adress and delivered by mail and effiecient way of collecting large amounts of data
   • Group-administered questionnarie
     • Hrlps to collect data from sample of respondents that are together
   • Household drop-off survey i
     • Hybrid of the other two types identified for a member of the house. Useful to clarify information

3. Interviews

   • Definition
     • Iis a conversation to obtain information about a subject or a person through a series of questions
   • Types
     • - The structured interview - Unstructured interview - Semi Structured interview
   • Uses
     • 1-Psychiatry and Psychology (therapeutic or clinical interview) 2- Journalism (journalistic interview) 3- Company (evaluation interview, promotion, advice, dismissal, recruitment). 4- Social research (in depth)
   • Data analysis
     • 1.- Thematic analysis 2.- Affinity diagrams 3.- Narrative analysis 4.- Deduction
