| Evaluation Question 6 - What have you learnt about technologies from conducting this product? | Whilst filming we used a range of different technologies, starting from when we created our preliminary task, to when we filmed our own version of an opening title sequence. |
| Some of the technologies we used ranged from an edit suite such as premier pro and also iMovie. By using these high end software's, helped us enable a higher standard opening title sequence. We was also able to edit sound and text over the top of our opening title sequence in these software's. | To film our opening title sequence we used a Canon DSRL Camera to make sure that our clips were filmed in very high quality. This made the finished opening title sequence appear more professional with sharp quality clips. |
| As well as using a camera to film we also needed an tripod to make sure that our shots were still which made our opening title sequence more professional. In our final product we didn't use lighting for most of our opening title sequence, however at one point our main character Harlow is inside and artificial lighting could have been used however we felt it was looked much better with natural lighting. | When creating our planning for our opening title sequence I used many different websites in which we could present our work. Powtoon, Prezi, Slide Share, Exam Time and Emaze were only some of the websites I used throughout research. |
| As part of planning for our opening title sequence we put our group log line onto 'logline.it', which is a website where people can give you feedback on your log line which you have created. I found this website very helpful because we could take into account other peoples thoughts on our log line and took into account the feedback, as a result of the feedback we made a slight alteration to our log line so that it made more sense. | The main website in which we used throughout the research, production and post production was Blogger. Which is a website in which you make posts holding information about each different section we carried out research on when planning for our opening title sequence. I found blogger very handy as we were able to embed web-tools and images to make our posts more interesting. |
| I felt that one of the most useful ICT we used was youtube. We was able to look at other peoples opening title sequence and read any comments given on the video as well as analysing the video ourselves and seeing where they went wrong so that we didn't make the same mistakes in our own opening title sequence. | I believe that we have made improvements from our copy of an opening title sequence to our preliminary task to our final opening title sequence and this can be shown through the different research carried out in our blog posts over time. Combining the techniques we learnt from the Preliminary task and our own version of an opening title sequence we were able to produce a final opening title sequence using these technologies and knowledge gathered throughout these tasks. I feel I have come a long way in developing the use of technologies as I didn't really know much about when I started out doing media as I never previously took media. |
