Suggest two pieces of advice on food choice for someone who wants to lose weight? Reduce the numbers of calories eaten each day, choose food that is lower in fat and sugar.
What health problems are linked to eating too much fat and salt? Overweight and the health problems related to that. High blood pressure and increased risk of heart disease.
List 4 Allergens? Milk, Eggs, Peanuts, Tree nuts, fish and shellfish, sesame seeds, cereals with glten, soya.
Give 3 pieces of advice for someone making gluten free biscuits? Change the wheat based ingredients such as flour to gluten free flour, test the recipe as the structure is lost without gluten, check if oats are gluten free.
If you were testing a recipe for peanut butter cookies, what advice would you give onthe ingredients that should be avoided fo people with food allegies? Peanuts need to be avoided for people that cant eat them. If people are wheat intolerant, use gluten free flour. Dont use milk or butter for people that are lactose intolerant.
What is lactose intolerance? When people become unwell if they eat milk and milk products.
