2. Started in China

3. 1/3 population was effected

4. 2 types of the plague

   • Bubonic plague, which was more serious
   • Pneumonic plague, which was coughing

5. So many people died from it they built massive pits to bury them in

6. 25 million people in Europe and Asia died from it

7. Nobody knew anything about the germs that spread the diease

8. As a result of the Black Death, women died whilst giving birth and men died from wounds they received from battle

9. Ideas were created through religious beliefs
