          1. Murdocks definition is outdates , Giddens' definition is more flexible...
            1. "a family is a group of persons directly linked by kin connections, the adult members of which assume the responsibility of caring for the children"
          2. families that share the same home
            1. Work together and share money and domestic tasks
              1. Reproduce
                1. Male and female adults, sexual marital couple that are accepted by society.
