- Identity is who you are. It is a combination of things you are born with
and social constructs. Identity can be narrowed to seven key parts: Class,
Age, Gender, Ethnicity, Sexuality, National Identity and hybrid identity. All
of this contributes to your identity. It's how other people view you.

self is socially constructed and reconstructed through
interactions with the community. Humans are aware of how
others perceive them and desire to be accepted. They therefore
go against any behaviours labelled as deviant. In other cases, to
fit in with a select subculture or group, the individual may label
themselves as part of that group.
