In sport the older you are the more likely you are to have an injury and that it will take longer to recover from the injury. 

It is very high in teens and as you get older a performer with lose it so the peak is around 15-17

Injury recovery time

This increases with age and experience, because of this performers in sports like horse riding allows them to continue into in the sport until there 50's 

it builds up with youth but in the performers 30's the oxygen capacity will decease as the heart efficiency is effected in transporting the oxygen to the muscles that, need it.

It increase through the youth and them decreases with age
