Noted things come in 7's *(e.g. days in a week, music scales, deadly sins). Suggested capacity of STM is 7+/-2 items. People can re call 5 words + letters, done by chunking.

- 7Coding limitation (Evaluation)It was used quite artificial stimuli rather than meaningful material to participants. Means should be cautious about generalising the findings to different kinds of memory tasks.
