Conteúdo do fluxograma
Glucose attaches to glucose receptor & transporter which allows glucose to enter the Pancreatic cell by passive facilitated diffusion.
Once the glucose is in the Pancreas cell ATP is made.
ATP acts as a intracellular messenger which closes a K+ Channel which results in an opening of a Calcium channel
Calcium Diffuses into the cell which signal vesicles containing insulin to secrete their substances to outside the cell into the blood by exocytosis
The insulin reaches a muscle insulin receptor protein
A signal transduction pathway commences
*cascade to amplify signal
*maybe second messengers
The signal reaches the nucleus which genes become activated and a response occurs. Genes are activated
Glucose tranporter proteins are synthesized in the ER and moved to the be embedded in the ER
The glucose transporter proteins help move the glucose into the cell
This process is stopped when gluclose levels reached optimal levels
